Makeup can be very addicting, and when there are so many options and you don’t know where to start, it can be frustrating. Over the past few years I’ve spent a lot of time finding some of my favorite makeup products and tools.
If you want your makeup to be on point, start with the canvas; your face. I gathered some of my go-to
Face primer - $13 Loreal Paris Studio Secret Professional Primer
Primer is a must for a smooth face before makeup application. It also makes your makeup last a lot longer. Acts as a barrier for your skin and foundation likely preventing clogged pores!
Foundation - $12 L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation
I am borderline obsessed with creamy concealers for the under eyes. Make sure that you choose a concealer that is lighter than your foundation for under eyes and choose a concealer that is your skin color for covering scars and/or pimples.
Under eye cream highlight - $5.99 Rimmel London Match Perfection Concealer & Highlighter
Contour - $25 NYX Highlight & Contour PRO palette
The hot new trend is to contour and highlight…best advice: super tight duck face when applying contour!
Setting Powder - $4.99 Rimmel Stay Matte
Use setting powder all of your face to look in your makeup but most importantly under your eyes after concealer to prevent creasing.
